Agriculture & Kisanology

This encompasses Farming, Livestock, Food & Food Processing, Aquaponics & Aquaculture etc. IAE™ has been innovating ways and means to integrate technology with farmers’ welfare & prosperity for their income growth through crop forecasting & crop insurance, agrilaser, elimination of intermediaries and middlemen, training of farmers on crop cultivation, life cycle management, etc.,
Indian agrigarian economy is prone to its dependency on weather and climatic conditions beside its semi or illiterate population. Traditionally, the farming population has it young generation have been inclined to move away from the farm & village to more charming and compelling urban and cosmopolitan economy. The young generation has been acquiring desired or relevant qualification to join hands with the bread earning family members, however, most of the educated young population get diverted either to a government or private jobs which pave a path of prosperity and glamour to their lives.
There has been a perennial decline in the current %age of agri-income based families across the country since last few decades, however with the dawn of new paradigm there are some qualified population which has also started looking back to the village to join the farming sector for INNOVATIVE ways and means to conduct scientific farming with optimum utilization of natural or government resources for their productivity and quality enhancement.

There are some major questions which stakeholders of IAE™ ponder over while working in the field of “KISANOLOGY” for the prosperity of these agriculturists without much of investment in their farm. Some of these relevant questions are:

Some of these relevant questions are:

  • What types of INNOVATION may happen in the space of agriculture within and beyond technology intervention in the sector ?
  • What are the areas wherein different Indian universities and institutions like Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) etc., are working towards bring majority of lost rural population back to FARM ?
  • How technology driven/based farming can engineer the productivity and security of crops and other farm produces in our country ?
  • How can IAEGlocal become a bridge between farmers and government institutions to eliminate intermediaries, educate & train them in their mega contribution to the economy as DRIVERs of the economy ?
  • Can we explore an opportunity of “Setting-Up, Operating & Managing” mini food processing units on consolidated farm lands for sorting, cleaning and packaging and supplying directly to the ORGANISED retailers for direct and maximum benefits to farmers ?
  • How can IAEGlocal develop packaging & preservation technology of farm produce without losing the nutrients of the product so that same can be sold at market price at a time when there is scarcity of the produce ?
  • How can we educate and train the rural population on DIGITAL economy in their own language for their “Life Cycle Management” ? How to manage a distressful state of affairs in case of any natural calamity ? How can these farmers avoid committing suicide in case a financial crisis ?
  • How can we use technology based data of crop destruction of farmers for a judicious and fair compensation to farmers against their CROP INSURANCE ?
  • How can we INNOVATE an indigenous BUSINESS MODEL to handle and manage stray animals without slaughtering these innocent living beings ? How can we bring in / create some AGRILASER technology to save crops, fruits & vegetables from birds’ indulgence into the same for their survival ?
  • How can we train and educate the farmer community on the usage of WATER and its monitoring, recycling or harvesting etc. ?

IAEGlocal is in the process of adopting 1-2 village to be used as its laboratory to INNOVATE in the space of KISANOLOGY.
